These work very well. They are able to keep your feet warm as the mercury drops. I have not tested them under 40 degrees, but up to that point, my feet have been comfortable. The reason that I dont give them 5 stars is that I wear a size 13 shoe, and the covers are too tight, and it makes the shoe a small uncomfortable, but not terribly terrible.
